Another successful singing course for Vocal Academy

During September and October, Vocal Academy ran its second free 8-week singing course for men. Of the 25 men who registered, 22 attended and 11 have signed up to continue with the chorus, so a great result all round!

On the final night of the course, the participants, under the direction of Vocal Academy member, Phil Watson, performed "Hello Mary Lou" and "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" to an audience of family and friends and also combined with the regular chorus to form a 40-man chorus.

One of the participants arranged for a "binaural" recording to be made using a "dummy head", so one member of the audience was a life-size foam head!
